Teens Camp
Jabarra Bittin Duggan returns as Teen Camp Lead this year. Teens Camp 2026 will include both structured activity followed by unstructured teen time to relax and hang out together.
Structured activities will revolve around creativity. Teens can paint a VW van, play with clay, make beaded jewelry or items with leather, make felted items, or tie-dye clothing or fabric. Supplies will be on hand for acrylic and watercolor painting. Teens may bring their own materials if they’d like, e.g., journals or sketch pads for writing and drawing. Examples of the unstructured activities include music, arts and crafts, yoga, nature excursions, cards and board games.
Discussion in the evening will be on topics relevant to the group and how they relate to what’s on their mind. There may be guided journaling (with and without painting or drawing). This year — new! — we are planning a teen campfire — teens, Teen Camp staff, and their invited guests — supervised by CCR staff, and adding s’mores to the flavor of NWSC.
Fees for all teens (13-19): full time $350; part time $225
12 years and under: FREE!
Out Beyond Ideas of Wrongdoing and Rightdoing
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
There is a field. I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
The world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
Doesn't make any sense.
